HOUSTON — The reporters had left Darius Leonard, had finished asking him questions about the play, and the play still bothered him.
Leonard pulled out his phone, found the video of the play he ripped the ball out of the hands of Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson’s hands and turned to Anthony Walker, then to another teammate, showing anybody within reach.
The Colts linebacker is convinced he ripped the ball away from Watson and retained possession, even though the referees ruled a recovery for the offense.
“I punched it out,” Leonard said.
