INDIANAPOLIS – Before turning his attention to Sunday’s contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts safety Darius Butler spent his off day on Tuesday pursuing another important endeavor.
Butler was among 13 players in New York to meet with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and a panel of owners there to discuss how the sides can work together to address players’ societal concerns in the wake of the league’s recent national anthem protests.
Butler returned to Indianapolis hopeful after what he described as a productive day in New York.
