INDIANAPOLIS — A subtle but significant shift has taken place at the Colts offices over the last month or so.
The young foundation Indianapolis has been building remains intact.
But a lot of the supporting pieces, players who’ve been familiar faces in Frank Reich’s four seasons in Indianapolis, are in the process of being replaced. At least one older pillar of the locker room is gone, and another one’s status remains undecided.
Taken individually, the moves might not seem monumental.
The combined weight of all the departures feels a lot heavier.
