INDIANAPOLIS -- Adam Vinatieri is the Indianapolis Colts' placekicker. Frank Reich was adamant.
On Monday, the Colts coach defended his maligned, hall-of-fame bound kicker by faulting a "fluky" snap and hold that led to Vinatieri's miss in the final minute of the Colts' 26-24 loss in Pittsburgh.
While Reich made it clear that he firmly believes in snapper Luke Rhodes and holder/punter Rigoberto Sanchez, there was no doubt in his mind that the inward-facing laces are what caused Vinatieri to shank a 10th kick in the 2019 campaign.

"I think we all saw it," Reich said during a Monday teleconference.
