ATLANTA -- Rookie Clayton Geathers will make his first career start today as the Colts take on the Atlanta Falcons in the Georgia Dome.
The Colts will be without safety Mike Adams today, and Geathers -- not veteran Colt Anderson -- will be the choice to replace him in the lineup.
The defense will have to contend with the Falcons' deep passing game, wide receiver Julio Jones in particular. But Geathers could also be an asset against the Atlanta running game and standout runner Devonta Freeman.
Elsewhere, linebacker Bjoern Werner is among the healthy inactive players for today's game.
