INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts have claimed kicker Chase McLaughlin off of waivers, adding a young kicker to the roster after Adam Vinatieri was limited in practice on Wednesday with a knee injury.
Vinatieri, who has missed an NFL-high 14 kicks this season, offered no hints about an injury during his Tuesday interview availability, and he kicked on Wednesday in the portion of practice open to the media.
At one point during the open portion, Vinatieri left practice and trotted into the facility.
