The Indianapolis Colts today claimed tight end Ross Travis off waivers (from Kansas City) and signed center Anthony Fabiano to the practice squad. The team also waived wide receiver Matt Hazel and released defensive tackle Jeremy Liggins from the practice squad.
Travis, 6-7, 235 pounds, has played in 17 career NFL games (six starts) and caught eight passes for 58 yards in his time with the Chiefs from 2015-17. He appeared in 11 games (three starts) with Kansas City this season and tallied five receptions for 43 yards. In 2016, Travis appeared in six games (three starts) and caught three passes for 15 yards.
