The Indianapolis Colts claimed cornerbacks Thakarius Keyes (from Kansas City) and Chris Wilcox (Tampa Bay) off waivers Wednesday. Safety Andre Chachere and cornerback Marvell Tell III were cut to make room for the new players.
Keyes, 6-1, 202 pounds, played in eight games (one start) as a rookie with the Chiefs in 2020 and had seven tackles. He was a seventh round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft out of Tulane.
Wilcox, 6-2, 195 pounds, participated in the Buccaneers’ 2021 offseason program and training camp. He was a seventh-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft out of BYU.
