INDIANAPOLIS – The Colts starting running back from last year’s postseason run is back with the team.
On Thanksgiving, the Colts claimed Boom Herron off waivers after the Bills parted ways with the running back on Wednesday.
To make room for Herron on the active roster, the Colts waived Zurlon Tipton. The Colts three running backs on the roster right now are Frank Gore, Ahmad Bradshaw and Herron.
When the Colts needed Herron the most last season he delivered down the stretch.
