On Sunday, December 11, the Indianapolis Colts teamed up with CBS4 and the Salvation Army to host the “Angel Tree Toy Collection” prior to the Colts vs. Texans game. From 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., CBS4 personalities, Salvation Army volunteers and Colts Junior Cheerleaders collected new, unwrapped toys from Colts fans for the Salvation Army. Donations were collected at the Colts Community Collection Stations, presented by Toyota, located outside each Lucas Oil Stadium gate.
Beneficiaries of the salvation army will receive 1,000 toys donated by Colts fans. Over $3,000 was also collected and will benefit those in need.
