The praise continues to be sung for Colts cornerback Jaylon Jones as he was named the AFC’s Week 3 Defensive Player of the Week.
Jones kickstarted what would be the Colts’ first scoring drive after picking off rookie QB Caleb Williams during the second quarter for his first career interception. Jones then doubled down on his career-high day through the air by intercepting Williams a second time during the third quarter, this time with a flashy, body-contorting one-handed snag that required a toe drag to cap off the impressive play.
Jones logged 90 defensive snaps versus Chicago, which was the most of any defender in Week 3.
