INDIANAPOLIS — Colts quarterback Andrew Luck emerged from Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans with concussion symptoms and is now subject to the NFL’s concussion protocol, coach Chuck Pagano said Monday, making Luck highly unlikely to play in Thursday night’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
With just four days between games, and given the numerous steps required to be cleared in accordance with the protocol, the three-time Pro Bowl selection is almost certain to miss the game against a Pittsburgh team that has beaten the Colts by a combined score of 96-44 in their past two meetings.
