Adam Vinatieri has already cemented himself as one of the greatest kickers in league history, but he’s not done yet as he will return to Indianapolis for his 23rd NFL season at age 45.
Per Adam Schefter, the Colts and Vinatieri have reached an agreement on a one-year deal as he is only 58 points shy of passing Hall of Famer Morten Andersen for the NFL’s all-time scoring record.
Vinatieri had a bit of a down season last year hitting only 29-of-34 field goal attempts, but two of those misses came in the infamous blizzard game in Buffalo and another two of those missed attempts came in extremely windy conditions in Baltimore.
