INDIANAPOLIS — By the time the Colts finally made a pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, it didn’t take Indianapolis long to turn in the card.
The Colts immediately addressed their most immediate need, snapping up USC wide receiver Michael Pittman to give new quarterback Philip Rivers a big-bodied target and a potential starter at the pass-catching position.
Pittman, a 6-4, 223-pound receiver, was incredibly productive at USC as a senior, catching 101 passes for 1,275 yards and 13 touchdowns, and he fills the need for a sizable receiver that was left open when the team decided not to re-sign Devin Funchess this offseason.
