Colts GM and coach give their thoughts on the 2019 Draft class Indianapolis Star
INDIANAPOLIS — Two days after the end of the NFL draft, a Colts team that decided not to use a pick on a running back ended up signing veteran insurance for its young stable of backs.
Indianapolis has signed long-time Chiefs running back Spencer Ware, adding the 27-year-old back to a group that already includes Marlon Mack, Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins.
Colts general manager Chris Ballard mentioned Saturday that a move at the position was likely coming.
“There are still some guys that we like out there on the street,” Ballard said.
