With a field goal at the end of the first half against the Oakland Raiders, Adam Vinatieri added more accolades to his Hall of Fame resume.
Vinatieri converted a 25-yard field goal at the end of the first half in Oakland, passing Morten Andersen to become the NFL’s all-time scoring leader with 2,547 points.
“I had the privilege to play against him a handful of times in my early, early years and his twilight years,” Vinatieri said this past week via the Indianapolis Star. “Meeting him was awesome.
