The Indianapolis Colts announced on Saturday that the team has activated wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. off of injured reserve and waived fellow wideout Daurice Fountain Jr. in a corresponding move on their 53-man active roster.
Pittman Jr. has been out of action since Week 3, when the rookie wide receiver suffered a rare compartment leg syndrome injury in his calf and was declared out indefinitely following surgery shortly thereafter.
He has 9 receptions for 73 receiving yards (8.1 ypr. avg.) and 0 touchdown receptions during 3 games (1 start) on the season for the Colts.
