INDIANAPOLIS — The changes the NFL made to its COVID-19 protocols this season have already begun to pay dividends for the Colts.
Indianapolis activated All-Pro left guard Quenton Nelson, starting right guard Mark Glowinski, cornerback Rock Ya-Sin, defensive end Kemoko Turay and practice squad tight end Farrod Green from the reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday, allowing them to start practicing with the team Wednesday.
Colts head coach Frank Reich also confirmed that under the NFL’s new protocols, the franchise could get several other players back this week. Quarterback Carson Wentz, All-Pro linebacker Darius Leonard, right tackle Braden Smith, strong safety Khari Willis and wide receiver Zach Pascal lead a list of 10 Colts who remain in the COVID-19 protocols.
