INDIANAPOLIS — Three more Colts starters will be back at practice Thursday under the NFL’s new COVID-19 protocols, led by All-Pro linebacker Darius Leonard.
Leonard, starting strong safety Khari Willis and wide receiver Zach Pascal have all been activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list under new rules that allow players to return to the team after five days of isolation if they no longer have a fever, symptoms are improving and they’re cleared by the team doctor.
Six more members of the Colts’ active roster, including a pair of starters in quarterback Carson Wentz and right tackle Braden Smith, remain on the reserve/COVID-19 list, but all six have a chance to be activated under the NFL’s new rules.
