INDIANAPOLIS — Frank Reich and the Colts offensive line made their intentions clear before the start of the 2019 season.
Big, powerful and nasty up front, they wanted to Run the Damn Ball in ways the city of Indianapolis hadn’t seen in decades.
The Colts made good on that promise.
Behind that big offensive line and the fully realized potential of Marlon Mack, the Colts ran for 2,130 yards, seventh-best in the NFL and the first time since 1994 that an Indianapolis team had rushed for more than 2,000 yards in a season.
The offensive line got a lot of the credit.
