Chuck Pagano's former assistants not waiting for Colts to name new coach

INDIANAPOLIS -- Many of the assistant coaches from Chuck Pagano’s staff are not waiting around to see if the new head coach of the Indianapolis Colts will retain them.

General manager Chris Ballard said on Jan. 1 that the new coach would be the one assembling his coaching staff. Five of Pagano’s assistant coaches have already left the Colts for new teams.

Special-teams coach Tom McMahon, who led one of the NFL’s top special teams for five seasons, is now the special-teams coach of the Denver Broncos.

Congrats to the @Broncos on signing Tom McMahon as their new Special Teams coordinator.
