INDIANAPOLIS -- The suspense is over on who will start at quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts against the Houston Texans on Sunday barring a setback between now and the start of the game.
Coach Chuck Pagano announced Friday that Matt Hasselbeck, who has been battling a rib injury, is probable for the game.
“(Hasselbeck looked) really good,” Pagano said. “Had an excellent day (Thursday), came in (Friday) and did a nice job. Threw the ball around really well. He’s going to play really good... He’s a tough S-O-you-know-what.”
There was some uncertainty on whether Hasselbeck would play against the Texans because he said Thursday that heavy breathing wasn’t easy for him.
