Chris Milton Gets One Year Extension With Colts

Milton played the gunner position and back up on defense. He helped the Colts by gaining 1 fumble recovery and 7 tackles while playing 15 games. He also added another fumble recovery in the postseason.

The secondary was an issue last year for the Colts as they let Vontae Davis walk away to the Bills, then subsequently, retirement. The defensive roster hasn’t changed since last year that much with Margus Hunt being signed back to a two-year deal, Darius Leonard winning Defensive Rookie of the Year and making All-Pro in his first year, add to that Malik Hooker having a breakout season, Indianapolis’ defense went from 32nd ranked to 10th ranked in the midst of one year – thanks to the tandem of Chris Ballard and Frank Reich.
