The Colts struggled last season with receivers. Most of it stemmed from them not being able to stay healthy. Whatever the case was, they need more playmakers. Drafting a player like CeeDee Lamb in the first round might help them fix that issue.
Lamb isn’t my favorite receiver in the draft, as that honor goes to Jerry Jeudy. But there’s a decent chance that Jeudy isn’t available when the Colts pick at 13. That leaves Lamb out of Oklahoma, who is probably the second best receiver prospect in this year’s draft.
Over his three years at Oklahoma, he played with three different quarterbacks.
