Indianapolis Colts quarterback Carson Wentz is looking more and more likely to line up under center Week 1. After being a limited participant in practice all of last week, Colts coach Frank Reich said Sunday that Wentz will take part in team drills for the first time since undergoing foot surgery almost four weeks ago.
The same can be said for All-Pro left guard Quenton Nelson, who suffered nearly the exact same injury as Wentz -- but to his right foot instead of his left -- and underwent surgery the day after the Colts quarterback.
Nelson was recently placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list but is slated to be removed from the list Monday, according to Reich.
