INDIANAPOLIS — Carson Wentz can feel the missed opportunities, feels the throws he’d like to have back in the Indianapolis passing game the past couple of weeks.
Wentz has not been the focal point of the Colts offense, not with Jonathan Taylor on the roster, and he’s done an excellent job this season avoiding the big, game-changing mistakes that might have nullified Taylor’s otherworldly impact.
Twenty-seven quarterbacks have thrown more interceptions than Wentz’s six, and he’s taken just 26 sacks, tying the Colts for second-fewest allowed in the NFL and 10th in sack percentage allowed.
