Colts quarterback Carson Wentz sat down with Beth Hoole of Valley News Live during his recent visit to Fargo, North Dakota for one of his AO1 foundation events. The two discussed Wentz’s biggest challenges over the past year, how he has adjusted to his new home and role in Indy, and the changing stigma of mental health in the NFL, among other things.
The early part of their conversation centered on the biggest struggles and challenges Wentz faced in his final season in Philadelphia.
“COVID, for everybody, changed a lot of things,” Wentz said. “I think it was really hard with COVID when we had a lot of new rookies and new faces in Philadelphia because we had so many rules.
