INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis Colts safety Khari Willis is crouched on his hands and knees looking up from the Lucas Oil Stadium turf as Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp leaps into the end zone for a short touchdown pass from quarterback Matthew Stafford.
Willis tried to turn and run with Kupp, but the third-year safety lost his balance and slipped, allowing the receiver break free for the score during the 27-24 Week 2 loss.
Willis is not the type of player to make excuses. After the game he took responsibility for the blown assignment saying he's got to play tighter coverage.
