INDIANAPOLIS – The adversity filled career of Arthur Jones in Indianapolis has continued.
On Monday morning, the Colts placed Jones on injured reserve with two weeks remaining in the regular season.
Jones had played in eight straight games in 2016, but a groin injury in practice last week kept him off the field on Thursday and Friday.
The veteran defensive lineman did not play against the Vikings and his season officially came to an end on Monday.
After serving a four-game suspension to start 2016, Jones was a much-needed body for the Colts this season.
