So the quarterback’s a mess, the team’s 3-4 and the pitchforks are out. Depending on which irate fan you ask, they’re either demanding the underachieving offensive coordinator be gone, or the embattled head coach get fired, or the vilified general manager leave town. Or, in some cases, all three.
Anger and uncertainty hasn’t swelled around the Indianapolis Colts like this since Curtis Painter was the quarterback. The offense? It’s in disarray. The defense? It’s dead last in the league. The coaches? They can’t figure out how to fix it.
