Colts GM Chris Ballard announced today that Left Tackle Anthony Castonzo will be returning to the team for the 2020-2021 season. Castonzo had made news shortly after the Colts season ended by declaring that he was contemplating retirement.
This news is big for the Colts, as it will keep one of the best offensive lines in the NFL intact for at least another year. Ballard explained that the team is working on a new deal for Castonzo, but he also indicated that this will be a “year-to-year thing”, so the team will likely still need to draft an eventual replacement for the long-time starter.
