According to the Baltimore Sun’s Aaron Wilson, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Andre Johnson‘s agent Kennard McGuire has refuted an earlier report that his client has talked of potential retirement:
“Retirement hasn’t been discussed,” McGuire said. “Andre is training and preparing for next season.”
The 14-year veteran endured one of his least productive seasons in his first and perhaps only year with the Colts, as he had 41 receptions for 503 receiving yards and 4 receiving touchdowns.
Like other Colts receivers, Johnson struggled in Andrew Luck‘s absence, as the latter missed 9 games because of injury.
