According to Pro Football Reference, 416 NFL players through last season were born in the Hoosier state.
Among the best of those, six were born in Indianapolis, four in Fort Wayne and three in Evansville. And from the elite group, seven attended Purdue, while four each attended Notre Dame and Ball State.
