That’s what makes the dilemma of Erik Walden re-signing with the Colts complicated.
It’s not that easy of a decision.
Walden was outstanding in 2016.
He led the Colts in 11 sacks, almost doubling his previous season-high after nine years in the NFL.
Since the Colts brought Walden in via free agency in 2013, they’ve received a pretty consistent edge presence (Walden has missed three games in four seasons with the Colts).
