The Indianapolis Colts fired offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton, the first of what could be several changes on the coaching staff.
And so it begins in Indy: Colts have fired offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton, sources tell @MikeWellsNFL and me.

Hamilton has served as offensive coordinator since 2013. Before that, he was the offensive coordinator at Stanford, where QB Andrew Luck played.
Rob Chudzinski will take over play-calling duties for the Colts. He's a former Cleveland Browns head coach who attracted interest last offseason for coordinator duties. However, the Colts didn't allow him to interview.
The Colts are 3-5, but have been plagued by turnovers on offense. Luck has been picked off 12 times this season, despite missing two games. The Colts clearly hope a coordinator change will help the offense find its footing.
This might not be the last change for Indy, as the Colts were reportedly planning on making changes during the bye week.
