The Indianapolis Colts' 24-13 victory over the Denver Broncos in Sunday's AFC Divisional Playoff matchup was a lot more convincing that the scoreline would suggest, as QB Andrew Luck rarely faced much pressure from the Broncos' pass rush while his defense smothered a visibly out-of-sync Denver attack.
"I'd like to think I am a better quarterback and would like to think we're a better team" now, Luck said. "We are well equipped to handle the unknown, the unforeseen."
For one of the newest entrants into the NFL's elite group of quarterbacks, Luck expressed just how much this victory over Peyton Manning and the Broncos means to him.
"I think we're playing good team ball," Luck said, "We're feeding off each other. Offensively we're making enough plays to put some points on the board. Great night. So proud to be a part of the Colts in this victory."
Andrew Luck is now 3-2 in playoff contests, and will lead a current 7.5-point underdog into Foxboro to face the New England Patriots in next Sunday's AFC Championship Game.
