The Indianapolis Colts have several needs on the defensive side of the ball, but they may decide to upgrade their offensive line in the first round of the NFL Draft.
According to Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz of USA Today, the Colts are looking at Pittsburgh OL T.J. Clemmings with the No. 29 overall pick:
It's hard to ignore the defense with this pick, but it might be first-round-or-bust for addressing right tackle. Clemmings is a road grader who is still learning the position. If the Colts can put up with the occasional growing pains, he'd be a very good long-term investment.
Clemmings played his first three seasons at Pitt as a defensive end before switching to offensive tackle, were he emerged as a star in his last two seasons.
