The Indianapolis Colts are winners of back-to-back games and hold a 2-2 record. They face off against the 1-3 Houston Texans Thursday Night. The Colts are the better team and have more talent, especially at QB. Here are three reasons why the Colts are guaranteed to beat the Texans.
Better Ground Game
The Texans are averaging 3.7 yards per carry and even the return of Arian Foster won't be enough of a boost to fix that. In his first game back, Foster picked up only 10 carries on eight attempts. The Colts are at least averaging four yards per carry and have shown promise in recent games. With the better ground game, the Colts will come out on top.
Texans' QB Troubles
Ryan Mallett and Brian Hoyer have both been benched for each other at points this season. Hoyer and Mallett are completing just over 50 percent of their passes for a disappointing 5.9 yards per attempt. Those are poor figures and poor QB play is huge reason the Texans will fall to the Colts.
Andrew Luck
Luck hasn't been perfect this season: far from it. He's committed too many turnovers, but he's still Andrew Luck. He can win a game for his team, something that can't be said for the Texans' QBs. With Luck back under center, and it appears that will be the case, he'll be the biggest reason the Colts defeat the Texans.
