NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Sycamore track and field teams had several strong performances, led by Taylor Austin and the women's Distance Medley Relay team at day one of the Music City Challenge.
"We had some nice highlights tonight with two school records on the women's side," head coach Angela Martin said. "Our throwers performed well on both sides and Scott Schreiber had another solid week of jumping. It was also great to see Jaime Murtagh back in the high jump."
Senior Taylor Austin had a stellar performance in the women's seeded 5K, breaking her own school record by over 18 seconds with a time of 16:31.
