TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Indiana State field athletes put together several strong performances on day two of the Gibson Invitational to lead the Sycamore track and field teams heading into day three of competition.
The Sycamore women are in fourth following two days, tallying 17 points and leading Northern Iowa (15), SIU Edwardsville (13), Eastern Illinois (10), Loyola (8), Central Michigan (7), Illinois Chicago (3) and Valparaiso (2). The Trees find themselves behind Bowling Green (29), Dayton (28) and DePaul (24). Indiana State's men currently sit in fifth as a team, tied with SIU Edwardsville and DePaul with 13 points while leading Purdue Fort Wayne (10), Dayton (5), Eastern Illinois (5), Illinois Chicago (3) and Valparaiso (3).
