BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana State men’s and women’s track and field had a solid start to their 2015-16 indoor season at the Hoosier Open, hosted by Indiana University on Friday night at Gladstein Fieldhouse.
Sycamores new and old were in top-shape in the men’s 60 meter hurdles. Returning All-American senior Adarius Washington (second place, 7.88 seconds), junior Marcus Neely (fourth place, 8.01 seconds, PR) and junior Daley Carter (fifth place, 8.10 seconds) all made finals and placed in the top-five.
Washington’s time ranks second nationally right now, just one one-hundredth off of national leader Michael Dickson of North Carolina A&T at 7.
