TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – "It ain't over 'til it's over," Yogi Berra infamously once said. No truer words could describe Friday's match when Indiana State was up, then tied, fell behind, then rallied back for a 3-2 win over Evansville in front of a season-large crowd of 469 at ISU Arena.
The Sycamores held a 2-0 lead, then allowed Evansville (9-20, 3-13 Missouri Valley) to even the match at two sets apiece. Trailing 9-5 in the fifth set, Indiana State (10-18, 3-13) went on a 10-2 run to clinch the set and the match victory. Set scores were 25-21, 25-21, 21-25, 14-25 and 15-11.
