TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State nearly overcame a two-set deficit Saturday evening against Southern Illinois, but the Sycamores' comeback attempt fell just short in a five-set defeat to the Salukis (25-20, 25-14, 23-25, 23-25, 15-9) inside ISU Arena.
Ella Scott and Curry Kendall led the Sycamores' attack with 14 kills apiece, with Kendall also adding a team-high 13 digs for her first career double-double.
