TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Indiana State football fell to 0-9 on the season after Youngstown State cruised to a 66-24 win Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
The Penguins (4-5, 2-4 MVFC) were red hot out of the gate, scoring the first 28 points of the game. YSU quarterback Ricky Davis recorded the first two touchdowns for the Penguins; the first on a 57 rush on a read option and the second on a QB sneak.
The Sycamores looked to seize the momentum and take ball away as YSU fought for the endzone and Rondell Green forced a fumble at the four-yard line, but Alvin Bailey recovered the ball and fell into the endzone for a score.
