DES MOINES, Iowa – The Indiana State track and field teams are slated to split squad this week, sending athletes to the historic Drake Relays while others will compete at the Sycamore Open on Saturday, Apr. 24.
ABOUT THE DRAKE RELAYS
The 111th running of the Drake Relays will begin on Thursday, Apr. 22 and run through Saturday, Apr. 24. Some of the world's best athletes will descend upon Des Moines, Iowa to compete on the track and in the field. Announced thus far include national champions from 16 different countries, five Olympic gold medalists, 12 total medalists and 21 total Olympic finals appearances.
