TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Indiana State women's golf is in third place after the opening round of the ISU Spring Invitational, which is the lone home tournament for the Sycamores this season. The event is being played at The Country Club of Terre Haute, which is a par-72, 6,041 yard layout on the southside of town.
Indiana State will have to come from nine shots down if they are to remain undefeated all-time in their home tournament -- hosting for the fourth consecutive year. The Sycamores carded a round of 315 and are tied with Missouri Valley Conference foe Drake for third place.
