MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Indiana State softball team claimed the series with a victory at Memphis on Sunday afternoon. The Sycamores (6-10) won by a score of 5-1 at Tigers Softball Complex.

The Sycamores used the long ball to help push them past Memphis to earn the series victory. Bella Peterson and Amanda Guercio both connected on home runs in the contest. Gabbi Schnaiter got the start throwing five innings while only giving up three hits, Arielle Blankenship was in relief while only allowing one hit in two innings of work.
