TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State baseball opened play at Bob Warn Field Tuesday afternoon with a 5-1 midweek victory over San Diego, marking the fourth-straight win for the Sycamores.
Indiana State (6-5) outhit San Diego 10-7 in the contest which included two home runs and a double. The Toreros (9-3) entered Tuesday's action riding a four-game win streak while sitting at No. 23 in RPI but could not get anything going at the plate until late in the game.
(1-1) went six complete innings in his third start to earn the win.
