Sycamores split the season series with extra-inning 9-8 win at Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – An errant throw on a potential double play ball sailed into right field, allowing to score the go-ahead run in the top of the 10th inning as Indiana State topped host Purdue on Tuesday afternoon at Alexander Field, 9-8.

The Sycamores (16-16) rallied back from a 7-3 Purdue (20-12) lead as Indiana State claimed its 10th consecutive win in West Lafayette, Ind. and Alexander Field dating back to the 2013 season.
