CHARLESTON, Ill. – The Indiana State softball team split its doubleheader against Eastern Illinois Tuesday. The Sycamores (11-17, 3-5 MVC) shutout the Panthers in game one by a score of 5-0 and dropped the second by a score of 4-0 at the Williams Field.
KEY MOMENT – GAME ONE
Senior and sophomore tossed the combined shutout. Schnaiter earned her fifth victory of the year fanning three Panthers, while Benko struck out four throwing two scoreless innings only giving up one hit.
